Studio Scale 1/120 Enterprise Refit Build, as first seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture

A project that does truly attempt to go where no man has gone before -- recreating the 8-foot studio model of the U.S.S. Enterprise as seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This project is led by master artist Russell Meyers along with graphic artists Frank Terribile and Karl Tate.
Graphics for the project are being designed by Lou Dalmaso.
The project is being designed using 3-D Builder (Windows 10). Cura Slicer is the liaison program that communicates with the printer and sets the parameters.
A Creality Ender 5 Plus printer is being used to construct the model in approximately 10 x 10 inch pieces. PLA and Silk Pearl White filament is being used, with a 2-4% infill for general printing and 5-10% for load-bearing sections.
Once the individual components are printed and prepared, Starlight Nights will complete the project. This includes final assembly, painting and Azteking, and mounting and displaying the finished model replica.
"The human adventure is just beginning."

There will be no bloody A, B, C, or D on this model!

Assembling the Enterprise
After almost 18 months of planning and work, it is now time for Yard Master Webber to actually start the process of constructing the Enterprise Refit. It will be slow and deliberate, of course...
