     With her athletic build, exotic look, and blue skin, Aayla Secura stood out among the Knights of the Jedi Order.

     Secura was a Twi'lek Jedi Master from the planet Ryloth.  During the Clone Wars, she rose to the rank of Jedi General of the Grand Army of the Republic.  She was part of the team sent to rescue Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padme Amidala on Geonosis (Episode II: Attack of the Clones) and was one of the first Jedi killed as the Clone War drew to an end when Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine instructed the clone army to execute  Order 66, killing the Jedi Knights.  Secura was shot in the back many times by the clone troopers she had previously led into battle (Episode III: Revenge of the Sith).  See the scene here.

     Secura's service as a Jedi was outlined in greater detail in the television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-2014) and in many books.  It is here we learn that Secura, suffering from amnesia, temporarily turned to the dark side of the force.  There are many other stories around Secura, most notably helping to train Ahsoka Tano, the Padawan apprentice of Anakin Skywalker (who had been gravely injured) that Jedi must have no personal attachments.
